Mission of SD Walleyes Unlimited

South Dakota Walleyes Unlimited is dedicated to preserving, protecting, and improving all fisheries within the state of South Dakota. Through memberships, community involvement, and family participation we can restore the forage base and create restocking programs that will benefit all South Dakota waters. Fishing Tournament/Benefit for Brook Brown

Brook Brown Benefit Tournament. June 23rd, 2012
Webster, SD

Brook Brown, a former resident of Aberdeen, and current Conservation Officer in Hayti, SD, was diagnosed with Stage IV Cancer in April, 2012. The purpose of the benefit is to take off some of the financial stresses that the Brown family will deal with in the coming months.



Kids Fishing Week-end in Pierre, SD - June 8-10, 2012

Kids will be provided fishing rods and other goodies and GF&P will have tanks set up with fish in them
Saturday June 9
9am-noon Group 1 will fish on Lake Sharpe
Noon Hot Dog Cook-out nears Downs Marina
1pm-4pm Group 2 will fish
Sunday June 10
9am-noon Group 3 will fish
1pm Photos and prize drawings
Volunteers Needed The organizers are in need of volunteers willing to bring their boat and take a couple kids fishing or just to show up to jump in a boat with another volunteer to help a couple of kids catch some fish.

Platte Creek Fishing Tournament

Sioux Empire Area Chapter is sponsoring a fishing tournament at Platte Creek.
One member of the team must be a current SDWU member. Limit of 50 teams. Included is a supper buffet and 100% payback (less the cost of supper). See application for all the tournament specifics.
