The handicap accessible fishing dock at Chamberlain has been completed. Completion of this dock was done through the partnership of SD Game, Fish and Parks, City of Chamberlain and South Dakota Walleyes Unlimited Sioux Empire Chapter. SDWU collected private donations as well as donating from their chapter.

There have been several to fish on the dock already. One day a couple of GF & P employees were down at the dock with a group of children. Another day an individual reported that on a Monday afternoon he caught four 12 inch perch, a couple bluegills and a 17 inch and a 18 inch walleye from the dock.

We hope everyone will enjoy and make use of the dock.
