- Tournament will be a one-day event scheduled for July 10, 2010 out of Platte Creek. July 11, 2010 will be bad weather date. There will be a limit of 50 teams. One team member must be a current member of SD Walleyes Unlimited.

- There will be a supper buffet @ 5:30 pm July 10 at the Platte Creek Store for all participants. Meal will be BBQ ribs, brats, baked potatoes, salad bar. Meal is included in the entry fee.

- The entry fee will be $60.00 per 2 person team. Any team that has more than two members will pay an extra $10.00 per extra team member. Applications must be received by July 1, 2010.

- Submit your completed Application, along with your check or money order, to South Dakota Walleyes Unlimited; PO Box 89514; Sioux Falls, SD 57109-9514.

- Fishing times will be from 7 am to 4 pm. The rules meeting will be announced at a later time.

The Army Corps of engineers has been directed by Congress to review the original project purposes established by the 1944 Flood Control Act of 1944. MRAPS is the first ever review of this legislation that created the system of dams and reservoirs on the Missouri River and major tributaries.

The study will determine if changes in these purposes and the existing federal water resource infrastructure managed by the Corps and Bureau of Reclamation may be warranted. South Dakota Walleyes Unlimited is part of the Focus Group for this study.

We are asking our members and friends to list their concerns and issues by completing the MRAPS form. To learn more about Missouri River Authorized Purposes Study at www.mraps.org.
